DAY #1
we left our home 12:00 tuesday june 30th, we ate lunch and the kids settled in to watch a movie, hubby driving and I just getting settled in, I joined the children in a movie and then we all took a nap. made lasagna, salad, garlic bread, carrots for supper, hubby still driving, the boys do not mind there carseats so far and its nice to have a place to put them. we do have nice big windows so they get to see around. I took over the wheel at 8:30 and our plan was to drive a tank of gas which was every 7 hours. didnt have the nicest roads yet lots of construction and trucks.. sam got the kiddos ready for bed and tucked them in around 9:30.. then he tried to sleep I think he got a least an hour till we hit Chicago, so he helped me get through that.. but midnight driving through chicago was great!! with my love by my side the littles asleep..:):):) He did take over the wheel again since I didnt feel comfortable driving through all that traffic. the boys woke up around 1:30 and did not want to sleep so i put them in there carseats and went back to bed. they fell asleep in there and slept till 6:30. sam pulled over around 3:30 and we all slept till 6:30.... I got behind the wheel again, sam relaxed,..
