funmom: look whos walking..

Joseph is walking!!!

My little guys are reaching a new level once again..

So much fun watching them go from one level to the next..reminds me of us adults as we journey along on our spiritual walk, going from glory to glory..

Joshua does not make much attempt to walk yet..

IT IS SO COLD!!!!! How would I know I have not set foot out the door since sunday:( but I can hear the wind howling and the children come in from sledding all rosy cheeks and cold hands..I usually love winter but I am ready to get this cold weather over and see some sunshine and warmer days!!

My sciatic is better, but not back to normal yet, the huge part is I can sit and get comfortable, Monday and Tuesday that was not even an option, today I actually could walk around and pick up a few items here and there.. there is so much pressure when I stand up it feels like a cramp in my leg(charley horse) and will not go away until I sit or lay again, sometimes I will just quickly go on my knees to release the pain, my boys think this is great and the minute they see momma on the floor they come and crawl all over me little do they know I am about to scream in pain..

This has been a great challenge for me this week, to just lay and be still and I can say I was very discouraged at times, today as I cried and prayed before the lord his peace flooded my soul, his words so sweetly reminded me to be still and know that he is God.. To take this time and worship him.. meditate on his word, and to know that he is the healer!!

So very blessed by friends and family that are bringing meals and stopping by with an encouraging word and prayer..

Oh and now we don't need sleds anymore we just slide on the ice!!!!!
