living life

ok so that did not go as planned... I really do wanna blog more..

Are we so busy living life we dont take time to do the small things?? the fun things..

For my husband, he goes to work day after day.. providing for his family..

For me, at home with the little ones, I make breakfast lunch and dinner. laundry.clean up and clean up again. those are only a few things that we do as we live life.. my question here is am I taking time for the small things?? there are days I get weary and fustrated.. when I turn around and see yet another mess..then I am reminded once again this life here on earth is so short TAKE TIME!! My mom is saying alot lately if only I would have spent more time with my children, if only I could redo the younger years of my children.. I think as parents there will always be regrets but I think taking time should be one of the easier ones..

So in this everyday of just living life I wanna hold tight to the memories of my little ones.. even if that means stepping over toys to get from one room to the next..

My husband is very good for me in this area..He's good at taking time..

Recently my husband and I went on a much needed date!! went to park city and got myself a pair of new glasses(which I hate and still am not wearing ) and then went to panera bread and spent the evening writing out our goals in life...
Here are a few of mine..
1. To be supportive and encouraging to my husband and children..
2.To live a joyful stressfree life
3.eat healthy excercise
4.read more inspiring books
5.drink more water
6.listen more, talk less
7.read to my childern
this is only a few of them.. when my husband came up with this challenge..I could only name a few but the more I pondered on it and prayed about it my list got really long...

My firstborn turns 5.... happy birthday Tyler!!!
five years ago holding my precious son..never will I forget the feeling of holding my firstborn.. we were really stepping into parenthood thinking we got this..when really we did not have a clue...

still remember being somewhere and seeing someones child act up and we would look at each other and say our kids would never do that..:) well lets just say... or not... please dont tell me i am the only one that ever did that;) anyway some days I still don't have a clue and so thankful I can cry out to my heavenly Father for help..Tyler is fascinated with outer space, satellites and stars so we could not help but make this cake it was actually really easy..thanks to betty crocker cakes on youtube..
