Wow can't believe I am actually stepping out of my box and starting a blog...
The question is why am I starting a blog?? Well I love to journal and write diaries so when I started to read blogs I got inspired!!
also the fact that you can journal and have pictures to go with it AND that my children can go back and read it someday...

Why did I choose FUNMOM??

Well I want my Children to remember me as a funmom.. Not a stressed out busy mom...
But it does not come naturally for me..I like to work.. I can block out the world if I stay busy...makes me feel good about myself if I stay busy..
(although I know it's a strive to performance) and along with Gods help I am changing.. I like to be organized and on time.. I am a scheduled person so don't change my schedule...
when we go on vacation I can be so busy keeping things in order and cleaning up I forget to have fun...

I remember as a child when we would go on vacation and my dad would be so stressed out trying to keep everything in order and on time ect.ect. that i thought NEVER am I going be like that.. we had many good memories with my dad and we sit around a laugh about it now..we still like to have fun it's just.. well don't change our schedule.. be on time.. have a plan...

When I was sharing this with my husband about my desires to be a funmom..
his challenge to me... what are the three steps you are going to take to change it?

not the answer I expected but got me thinking..

so after a week of pondering about it I decided to try..
1.prayer
2.take time (the dishes can wait)
3.lay down self desires

So thankful for Gods grace time and time again..
and when we mess up we get to try again..

so with that a little about life... we are a busy family of 5... sometimes to busy.. Sam has had a winter like never before.. due to the nice weather they have not shut down once.. we are very thankful for that although with me busy baking in the summer,and helping out at market, winter is our time to hang out as a family... But we are making plans for summer and my hubby says we are TAKING the time.. so I am excited for the camping trips that are coming up..

keeping Tyler busy in this little house can be a problem... so having this warm winter has been a huge help.. his daddy fixed up his fishing line and bought him a fishing video, so at 7 this morning he was outside fishing.. he is the last one to bed and the first out of bed..

Brianna is a girly girl.. (so not like her mom) she likes to be indoors.. princesses and playing school.. has a big heart and loves everyone..

Olivia is going to be an outdoors girl.. loves going with her daddy outside and follows Tyler everywhere....

Don't know how much I will blog but I am going to give it a try....

The father loves me the way I am.. Not the way I should be.....
